Die DSJV-Frühjahrsveranstaltung fand am 11. April 2008 in Genf statt. Den Festvortrag im Anschluss an die Hauptversammlung hielt Professor Luc Thévenoz von der Universität Genf. Professor Thévenoz ist seit dem 1. Januar 2008 Präsident der schweizerischen Übernahmekommission (UEK) und sprach in englischer Sprache zu dem Thema „Foreign Takeover of Swiss Listed Companies: Barbarians at the Gate?“
